Hi there! My name is Pip van Gelderen and I founded Studio Pelle, a visual design studio based in Rotterdam, NL.
About the artist
As a visual and graphic designer, I get inspired from societal and contemporary changes happening around me. With a critical eye, in combination with extensive contextual and theoretical research, I develop and conceptualise my work.
I translate my observations on society into visual work in an outspoken and straightforward matter by using illustrations, collages and a mix of digital and analogue techniques. The goal of my work is to shed light onto complex social situations in a light-hearted and approachable manner. With a touch of humour and a serious undertone.
In 2022, I established Studio Pelle with the purpose of creating commissioned visual designs. As a graphic designer, my passion lies in the realm of branding. Are you looking for a designer who can help you bring your concepts alive? Feel free to contact me :)
