Lowlands festival, a three-day music and performing arts festival in Biddinghuizen, The Netherlands, holds a yearly design competition where you can enter your design and have a chance to showcase your design on their festival terrain.
In the 2023 Festival edition, I submitted my design and was selected as one of the top ten winners.
The design features a blue illustration of a human figure sitting within the vertical dimensions of a flag. As she listens to the festival's music and enjoys her time, she experiences the entire festival from her designated spot – the flag. From this perspective, she observes the festival's visitors.
