As part of an elective hosted by Willem de Kooning Academy, I participated in the North Sea Jazz 2020 Poster Competition. I submitted a series of poster designs in a colourful and playful theme.
I aimed to integrate two key elements of the festival into the designs: the essence of the ocean and the rhythmic qualities of jazz music. My goal was to seamlessly blend typography into the overall design, symbolising the lively and playful melodies of jazz.
